Industries & applications
Control systems for the assets that keep communities and industry moving.
Water and wastewater is the core. The control layer is the same discipline wherever the asset sits — the difference is the process, not the engineering.
Sectors we work in
Six sectors, one control discipline. Each card is the shape of the control problem, not a photograph of somebody else’s plant.

Water & wastewater, in detail
The site types we control, the links we run them over, and the documents that come back at handover.
Site types
- Water and wastewater treatment plants
- Water and sewage pumping stations
- Booster and pressure-sustaining stations
- Reservoirs, tanks and storage
- Borefields and raw water supply
- District metering and network points
- Chemical dosing and disinfection skids
- Aeration, blower and odour control
Links and protocols
- DNP3 over radio, cellular or fibre
- Modbus TCP and RTU
- IEC 60870-5-104
- EtherNet/IP and PROFINET
- OPC UA and MQTT to enterprise
- 4G/LTE and private radio telemetry
- Store-and-forward for marginal links
- Segmented OT networks to IEC 62443
What you get back
- Functional design specification
- Asset hierarchy and point model
- Tag and naming convention register
- Alarm schedule, rationalised to ISA-18.2
- HMI screen templates to ISA-101
- I/O schedules and loop diagrams
- FAT and SAT records against an ITP
- Operator training and handover pack
If your utility already has a design manual, a nominated SCADA platform and a tag convention, we build to it rather than to ours. Where no standard exists we write one with you before any code is cut — it costs a day at the start and saves an argument at commissioning.
Beyond water
The same control discipline, applied to the other sectors we work in. Each diagram is the shape of that sector’s control problem.
Infrastructure & civil
Pump and lift stations, stormwater and drainage control, road and tunnel plant monitoring. Duty/standby sequencing, wet well level control and rising main telemetry.
Industrial & process
Process line automation, packaged plant integration, batching and dosing control. Recipe handling, interlocks and third-party skid interfaces brought under one scheme.
Mining & resources
Dewatering and borefield control, process and potable water plants, remote site telemetry. Manifold sequencing and discharge control over radio where there is no fibre.
Energy & utilities
Substation auxiliary monitoring, distribution asset telemetry, standby and backup power control. Feeder status and alarms back to central control over DNP3 or IEC 60870-5-104.
Commercial facilities
Building services monitoring, plantroom control and alarms, energy and water metering. Chiller and AHU sequencing with consumption trended for the facility manager.
